A bit early i know but couldn't wait, with all the talk regarding transfers since the window open i was forgetting about the small matter of a CL final that we still have to play in, not.

Unfortunately and i don't mean that in a negative way, Klopp doesn't really have much brain storming to do as regards picking the team, he doesn't have a lot of options to be honest, front 3 we all know, Karius will start, as will VVD, Lovren, Robertson and Arnold. Can't believe the Lge season is over, how quickly did that go. I also can't believe that we're in a possition whereby we need at least a point here to secure 4th but that's where we find ourselves.

As always i feel the team picks itself with the exception of the RB position, i'm twixed between Arnold and Clyne but i'm going to choose Clyne as i think Klopp will start him in the CL final, so the team i expect to see is,

We should never be in the position whereby we need a point here and to beat Brighton or to win the CL in order to have CL football next season, should have been wrapped up long ago but that's Liverpool for ye, never the easy way, moan over.

Fantastic result on tuesday night, one foot in the final but still 90minutes to go, that game is for another day, right now we have to beat stoke, it's getting a bit too close for comfort that top4 so we need all 3 points here to ease the pressure on ourselves. People are saying we should rest players for wednesday night but they have short memories as in we rested players against the baggies and look what happened, our best 11 here and sod resting players.

Onto the big one now folks, disappointing result at the weekend and i say that only because we were 2-0 up at one stage but thats history now. I think the team picks itself and as far as i can see there's no new injury concerns from the westbrom game.

This game is killing me trying to 2nd guess what team Klopp might put out. For me we play our strongest 11 available, try and get the game won within an hour and then rest some players in preperation for our semi final on tuesday night. I think we need to keep this winning momentum going, we've seen what happens this week with the likes of spurs and manure when you play a weakened team, granted we have a few points cushion on chelsea but manure slipping up against the baggies has given us a…

No rest for the wicked for me, as far as i can see we have no knew injuries from the city game so i'd like to see our strongest team start, have to keep the momentum going and we still need to nail down a top4 finish. same team as against city with maybe Hendo coming in for wijnaldum.

I guess both City and ourselves very much were thinking about this game given the weekends results, how City lost that game is a mystery and as for our result in the derby, well, at least we got a point despite it being a really bad performance, anyway, onto this massive game for both clubs.

Great result against city but the job is only half done, before the 2nd leg we have the big derby to deal with. I think we should see a few changes here, idealy we should rest at least two of our front 3 and bring in Solanke and Ings but will Klopp take such a gamble in a derby game. Arnold had a great game against city but might Klopp rest him and bring Clyne in. Robertson could also do with a rest, might Klopp bring Moreno in. Thankfully an ugly win against palace keeps the momentum going as we welcome the visit of city in our biggest game of the season so far. A poor performance on saturday but i'm guessing they all had one eye on this game, still managed to get 3 points so all is forgiven.

Back to normal now and the serious stuff of the run-in. These team in a relagation battle are always dangerous but the way we were playing before the dreaded international break i can't see anything other than a win here. Seems our only casualties are Gomez and Can,otherwise we're at full strenght. 

As usual it's the midfield that's hard to predict but mine would be Hendo, Chamberlain and Lallana. My back 4 would be Arnold, Lovren, VVD and Robertson. Some are calling for some players…

I think the only thing up for discussion here is the changes Klopp will make as surely 3 points are in the bag here. Lovren and Arnold had shockers last saturday so maybe he will bring in Gomez and Matip to play alongside VVD and Robertson. Hendo missed out last week so maybe he comes in to play alongside Can and Chamberlain. Front 3 of course picks itself, the team might look like this,

We should see a few changes for this game but still have enough to see ourselves comfortably into the quarter finals. Seems like an age since our last game but thankfully it's all back to normal from tommorow with the visit from the hammers. I don't see any new injury concerns so we're pretty much at full strength, especially seen that clyne is back to full training, might we see him on the bench tommorow.

Could this be the biggest game of our season so far? I always say our next game is the biggest. Porto have an amazing home record as i'm sure you've all read about, runaway leaders in their lge this season and flying high in confidence but this is probably their toughest game yet this season. A great sign for us about the win against the saints is we weren't brilliant but still won comfortably away to one of our bogey teams, i'm sure all minds were on this game.
