RED STAR BELGRADE, 24-10-18, CL, (H)

After the last minute defeat at Napoli this is a must win game as will be the corresponding away game in Belgrade.  I would expect a strong team as Red Star are in good form barring their capitulation in Paris.  With our current lack of offensive form we may have to be patient and cannot expect to roll over opponents like we did at times last season.  Having said that I'm confident we will re-find the goal scoring touch before too long.  As far as the team is concerned Henderson and Keita…

HUDDERSFIELD, 20-10-18, (A), PL

Nobody seemed interested in posting a pre-match blog on this game but now its taken place a few may wish to comment.  I thought it was our worst domestic performance of the season (Napoli was worse) and we were fortunatee to come away with the points.  Huddersfield fought really hard, which ws predicatable, and played rather well, which wasn't, but even so we should have cntrolled the game much better.  Some of our play in the final third was really sloppy and the decision making was often…

After a disappointing result and performance against napoli we now have the pleasure of hosting our title rivals. Will this game decide where the title goes, of course not, will it give the winners a massive confidence boost, yes it will but going on current form the winner won't be us, anyway, onto the team.

Think we pretty much know who the back 5 will be so it's just the midfield and up front that's up for debate. We all know that Salah, Mane and Firmino are not on their game right…

Hey Red, anyone can start a matchday blog mate, please feel free to do so at anytime.

I can only see one maybe two changes for this game, the one change i would make would be dropping Hendo and starting Keita, i just don't see what Hendo brings to this team but that's just my opinion. I'm also tempted to drop one of the usual front three but which one i'm unsure about, maybe Salah but he did look a bit better against chelsea so maybe he's on his way back to top form and we don't want…

Chelsea, 29-09-18, PL (A)

Not sure how you guys feel about last nights result but it didn't bother me in the slightest, this game is far more important imo. Our winning streak was always going to end at some stage so i'm just happy it hasn't cost us 3 points, a chance of some silverware, yes but it's at the bottom of the priority list for me, anyway, back to buisiness with the Lge.

Again, it's just the midfield that is hard to call, back 5 is obvious as is the front 3 so who will Klopp choose. I keep beating…

Im expect wholesale changes here, i know it's very early in the season to be talking about resting players but do we really care if we progress in this competition, not me and besides we have chelsea in a far more important game next Saturday. My team for this game would be,

                                                           Mignolet

                                         Clyne     Matip    Gomez     Moreno

The games are coming thick and fast now with the latest being a visit from the saints. Great win over PSG the other night, delighted we got one over on that idiot neymar but i'm sure they'll be looking for revenge in the home tie. Anyway, on to this game.

I really think Klopp should make a few changes here and for the Lge cup game against chelsea, imo, we have top backup players so we should have enough to beat the saints no matter who he starts. I would definitely take Salah out, his…

PSG, 18-09-18, (H) CL

Great result yesterday against one of the top 6 teams but that's done, now onto the CL and a visit from PSG and that complete and utter tool Neymar, can't stand him.

I think Klopp has to make some changes here, That incident with Firmino yesterday looked really nasty, anyone who saw the still photo of it will know what i mean, that eye is bound to be very sore for a few days so i doubt he will play here. I would also rest Mane but i would start Salah as he appears to need the game time…

Seems an age since our last game but thankfully the latest inter break is over and we can now concentrate keeping our great start to the season going.with a tough trip to wembly to play spurs.

Ive been screaming out for Shaqiri to get a start and i feel this is a game for him, Keita must start as well as i feel his absense has made a big difference to our play. I would keep Milner in and have Shaqiri just ahead of Keita and Milner, a 4-2-1-3 if you like, very much an attacking lineup…

After a great start to the season we now have a run of 4 tough games in our next 5 with 3 of the big guns coming up in spurs, city and chelsea. Vardy being banned for this game is a help as he's haunted us in the past, i feel we can go on and make it 4 from 4 here and head into the dreaded international break in the best shape we could have hoped for. I'll get straight onto the team. Klopp looks to be fixed on a certain 11 right now so i can't see any changes it being the last game before…

Brighton, 25-08-18, PL (H)

We couldn't really have asked for much more from the opening two games, 6points, 6 goals for, none against, fantastic and i fully expect that run to continue here. The likes of westham, palace and brighton are the very teams that we need to be beating to sustain a title run so so far so good.

How do you begin to pick a team for this game but i'll give it a go or at least give my selection. Shaqiri played no part against palace so i would give him a start here. Studge only had a couple…

A great start to the season with a very convincing win over the hammers and so onto another team that has caused us problems in the past but i truly believe those day's are gone now with the squad we have now.

It's really difficult now to pick teams such is our squad but i think we can safely say the likes Alisson, VVD, Robertson and Gomez are certain to start here but Klopp may just change things further up the pitch. I know it's very early day's for resting players but i'm wondering…

Westham, 12-08-18, PL (H)

Couldn't wait any longer so here we go, start of the new season and we kick off with a visit from the hammers. We've added some real quality during the summer (how good does Shaqiri look) and i think we're all very possitive about the coming campaigne.

For me the team is obvious but for one midfield possition as in does Hendo, Millner, Wini or Shaqiri start? imo it's between Wini and Shaqiri with Kieta and Fabinho being the other two. My preference would be Shaqiri who i think has…

Madrid, CL Final, 26-05-18, Kiev.

A bit early i know but couldn't wait, with all the talk regarding transfers since the window open i was forgetting about the small matter of a CL final that we still have to play in, not.

Unfortunately and i don't mean that in a negative way, Klopp doesn't really have much brain storming to do as regards picking the team, he doesn't have a lot of options to be honest, front 3 we all know, Karius will start, as will VVD, Lovren, Robertson and Arnold. I can't see a midfield of anything…

Can't believe the Lge season is over, how quickly did that go. I also can't believe that we're in a possition whereby we need at least a point here to secure 4th but that's where we find ourselves.

As always i feel the team picks itself with the exception of the RB position, i'm twixed between Arnold and Clyne but i'm going to choose Clyne as i think Klopp will start him in the CL final, so the team i expect to see is,

We should never be in the position whereby we need a point here and to beat Brighton or to win the CL in order to have CL football next season, should have been wrapped up long ago but that's Liverpool for ye, never the easy way, moan over.

The team again picks itself i feel which is not a good thing, we need to be very busy during this summers transfer window, i won't mention the players i'd like to see leave, you know who they are. We win the CL and i reckon we'll have our pick of…

Roma, 02-05-18, 2nd Leg, Semi final, CL (A)

I'm going to keep this one short and sweet as this game needs no words and the team kinda picks it's self. We're in a great position where we can even afford to lose and still make the final, a nice early goal would destroy them and could make for a comfortable night for us.

                                                           Karius

                                      Arnold    Lovren  VVD   Robertson

Stoke, 28-04-18 (H) PL

Fantastic result on tuesday night, one foot in the final but still 90minutes to go, that game is for another day, right now we have to beat stoke, it's getting a bit too close for comfort that top4 so we need all 3 points here to ease the pressure on ourselves. People are saying we should rest players for wednesday night but they have short memories as in we rested players against the baggies and look what happened, our best 11 here and sod resting players.

Big blow losing Chamberlain…

Onto the big one now folks, disappointing result at the weekend and i say that only because we were 2-0 up at one stage but thats history now. I think the team picks itself and as far as i can see there's no new injury concerns from the westbrom game.

                                                            Karius

                                       Arnold     Lovren   VVD  Robertson

Westbrom, 21-04-19 (A) PL

This game is killing me trying to 2nd guess what team Klopp might put out. For me we play our strongest 11 available, try and get the game won within an hour and then rest some players in preperation for our semi final on tuesday night. I think we need to keep this winning momentum going, we've seen what happens this week with the likes of spurs and manure when you play a weakened team, granted we have a few points cushion on chelsea but manure slipping up against the baggies has given us a…
