Chelsea, 14-04-19, PL (H)

In my opinion this is the game where we could lose the title as i feel we'll win all the other games, of course even if we do beat the chavs it may not be enough but fingers crossed.

We'll have Robbo back so he obviously will start alongside VVD, Matip and Arnold, Alisson between the sticks, well, it would hardly be Migs, hahaha.

As usual it's the midfield that is hard to predict but right now i think our best and inform midfielders are Hendo, Fbinho and Keita so that's my pick here, usual 3 upfront.

                                                                     Alisson

                                                   Arnold      Matip    VVD   Robbo

                                                       Hendo   Fabinho   Keita

                                                      Salah     Firminho  Mane

All our remaining games are must win but like i said i feel we'll win the others but this one could be our bannana skin even though i do think we'll beat them, just. Best of luck RedMen.

      • Hazard came on after 59 minutes against Sparta Prague. Kante came on after 68. Although those two will be slightly rested it must be draining for Chelsea to play Monday, Thursday, Sunday so hopefully they will not be at their best physically. Hazard is the danger so there may be a case for playing Milner in front of Trent to provide cover. I read Wijnaldum has a slight back issue which may mean he stays on the bench.
        • I must do a bit more homework before i post about players, hahaha!!!!!!!
        • Yes, playing Milner ahead of Trent would be a sensible decision in the circumstances. A back injury to Wijnaldum would explain his recent drop in form.
      • I wasn't too sure where Gomez is currently at with regards to starting so I didn't include him. It's a bit of harsh fixture to have for your first game back so I figured he'd most likely be on the bench. When it comes to the midfield Klopp could possibly go two ways - he could either be more offensive and try and keep the play in Chelsea's half, in which case he's more likely to pick Keita, or he could be more defensive and try and interupt the balls going to Hazard in our half, in which case he's more likely to pick Wijnaldum or Milner. In the press conference Klopp said he was going to play on the front foot so he may well choose Keita, however, given the gravity of this fixture I'm not sure he can risk leaving the back door ajar so the less risky option would be to play two of Henderson, Wijnaldum or Milner because they all can play either offensively or defensively depending on the what the situation requires. I think our biggest danger is Hazard being given the ball halfway into our half so I personally would want the midfielders on the pitch who are most capable of stopping that happening. While I think Keita has improved greatly going forward I'm not sure he's quite as good as the other players in a defensive capacity.

"I'm happy with the white second strip.  White was the traditional colour back in the 60's and 70's, though I did like the yellow pinstripe that folowed.  I'm not sure about the dark blue shorts though.  I would prefer all white.  The third kit gives…"

"I think Grujic will be given a chance in pre-season to show if his improvement last season has brough him up to Liverpool level.  Wilson is now 22 and my worry for him is that he is a bit lightweight.  I prefer Kent though he doesn't score as many g…"

Liverpool has been a great about letting talented youngsters go permamently to another team if they have no real chance at first team futbol.  Yet in the cases of Grujic, Wilson and maybe Woodburn, we may be throwing the baby out with the bathwater!…

"But LFC keep secrets so well.  Remember last year's transfer window.  I've got this strange mental itch that a certain CB is coming our way.  Hope I didn't just jinx us!  Fixtures aside, any "reasonable" opportunity to enhance the squad's overall qu…"

The Reds’ away kit for next season pays homage to the legendary Bob Paisley, the most successful manager in the club’s history, in the year of the 100th anniversary of his birth. Quite similiar to the home kit and it looks decent even though the ima…
