Firminio's Disallowed Goal

This video technology worked perfectly at the World Cup 2018 in Russia and it has done very well at last season’s champion’s league. It appears that the PL or FA has major issues with the decisions with many goals from the games this season for being disallowed. Andy Gray does make sense with his thoughts.

"When they first calibrate it, and they do it and 'oh, wait a minute, he's still onside, let's do it again". "They do it again, and lo and behold, it comes up that he's offside in the

Adam Lallana may only have entered the contest in the 92nd minute, shortly before Sadio Mané was awarded a penalty after being felled in the box by Marc Albrighton, but the 31-year-old midfielder made certain to stamp his mark on the game.

As soon as James Milner coolly stroked the penalty past Kasper Schm

Maybe I Am Dreaming by Jurgen Klopp

This is an article by Jurgen Klopp that has just been published on the website 'The Players' Tribune' (

Maybe I Am Dreaming by Jurgen Klopp

I have to start with a slightly embarrassing story. Because sometimes I am afraid that the outside world looks at footballers and managers like we’re Gods or something. As a Christian, I believe in only one God, and I can assure you that God has nothing to do with football. The truth

Does this explain Mane's reaction?

This handy little diagram shows the chances created by each of the front three players for the other front three players in the Premier League since the start of the 2017-18 season. What's noticeable is that Mane's chance creation for Salah is getting on towards double the number of chances Salah's created for Mane. Is Mane aware of this difference? We'll probably never know but it might help explain why Mane might feel the relationship between the two forwards is slightly lopsided at present. I

The Road To Istanbul 2019-20

The Group stages draw has been kind to us for this season’s UEFA Champions league. We share the same group E with Napoli, Salzburg and Genk. The plus side is the geographical locations of Italy, Austria and Belgium so flight distances are closer to home.

Bonus is that Alisson won best keeper award and VVD won best defender of last season’s UEFA Champions League. Also VVD won UEFA UEFA's Men's Player of the Year for 2018-19.

Get Involved

Hello all,

I just wanted to ask if anyone would like to get involved with running and promoting the site. You've all played your part keeping things going last season for which I'm really grateful. I don't have much time these days but I'd like to get involved more here and try and bring the site back to it's former glory, it'd be good to do that as a team. If anyone would like help on an admin basis by adding features, designing the site, running Twitter, promoting the site or anything else ple

Prediction Lge

A quick word out to the lads who usually take part in this Lge. We might have a problem with it this season, doesn't seem to be putting the fixtures up, Jay reckons it could be gone due to it being a free site so he's looking for something else for us, keep an eye out for a new site, be great if we can keep it going.

Letting Talent Go Permanently

Liverpool has been a great about letting talented youngsters go permamently to another team if they have no real chance at first team futbol.  Yet in the cases of Grujic, Wilson and maybe Woodburn, we may be throwing the baby out with the bathwater!  Our midfield seems crowded at the moment, with little chance for the youngsters to get playing time.  But that same midfield will begin to look a little old in a few years (and I know about OLD) and the team will begin to look for replacements.  Why

New 2019/20 Away Kit

The Reds’ away kit for next season pays homage to the legendary Bob Paisley, the most successful manager in the club’s history, in the year of the 100th anniversary of his birth. Quite similiar to the home kit and it looks decent even though the image doesn't give a proper view. I am sure it will look better on the players and the supporters. Can't wait to see the third kit... Black? or Yellow?

Another Defender - Part II

I heard there is a debate on the question "Does LFC need another defender?"  My question is why is there a debate about an obvious need.  We needed one last summer when I brought up the fact that except for VVD, all our CBs can be considered walking wounded!  Gomez is a wonderful, youthful CB who works well with VVD but his history puts any idea that he will last the season without a major injury in doubt.  His effort and loyalty are not in question, but has he been given enough time to really g

As we won't have a match between now and the Champions League final, and so no match blog through which to share our views, I thought it may be useful to have a page which people can use to post and discuss anything in connection to the Madrid final. I'm sure closer to the day itself someone will start a match blog but until then feel free to use this page to post any thoughts or information that's appropriate.

New 2019/20 Home Kit

The Reds’ home kit for next season pays homage to the legendary Bob Paisley, the most successful manager in the club’s history, in the year of the 100th anniversary of his birth.

In special tribute to Paisley’s remarkable LFC legacy, each jersey is inscribed with his signature on the inside of the neck and also includes a swing tag dedicated to his incredible achievements.

Retaining the popular deeper red shade of recent years, the home shirt features stylish white pinstripes inspired by the 1982-

Goal keeper

Just a quick one boys, heading to work right now. Just reading a report that Zidane is considering selling Courtois, doesn't have a price but i would imagine it to be high as i think he's in the top 5 best keepers in the world, should LFC keep an eye on this? We definitely need competition for Alisson, he's starting to look a bit too comfortable now, Courtois would definitely push him for that number 1 position and hence would bring out the best in both of them. I think we should definitely moni
